Birmingham, AL – Reliant Healthcare, LLC announces the completion of development and licensure of Park Royal Hospital in Fort Myers, FL. Jim Harper, President of Reliant Healthcare, LLC; Dan Page, Chairman of Reliant; and Jim Nathan, President and CEO of Lee Memorial Health Systems all participated in the opening festivities. The psychiatric hospital was built on the medical campus of Lee HealthPark Medical Center near Fort Myers, FL. HealthPark’s 200 acre medical campus is one of the four acute-care hospitals that encompass the Lee Memorial Health System in Lee County, Florida.

Jim Nathan stated, “Park Royal Hospital will bring much needed behavioral health services to our community. Our recent community visioning process with community leaders identified the number one health care need in Fort Myers and Lee County to be behavioral health.”

At the opening ceremony, Jim Harper indicated that the hospital will serve both adult and geriatric patients needing inpatient psychiatric care. “The hospital is a LEED certified and will offer the most advanced psychiatric treatment in the South West Florida area. The hospital is initially licensed for 76 beds and was constructed so the occupancy can easily be increased to 114 beds when indicated. The community has given us outstanding support, and this opening marks a milestone for our young company.”

“The completion of Park Royal Hospital is one of the most satisfying experiences in my health care career,” indicated Dan Page, who, along with Jim Nathan, has been on the ground floor in conceptualizing and planning this hospital for several years.

The mission of Reliant Healthcare is to develop and operate “state of the art” behavioral health treatment facilities associated with successful medical surgical hospitals where there is obvious demand and need for services.
